Claro Walnut is a type of walnut tree that grows mostly in Northern California, and oregon. It is known for its vibrant colors and grain figure superior to regular Eastern Walnut. The client for this dining table chose to leave the slab whole and square it up with some resin on the sides. I love this kind of table as the beauty of the tree is put on display with the full grain of the tree running up and down through the center of the table. The rich chocolate browns and lighter streaks pair well with the deep ocean blue resin.
